The vibration sensor is one of the key components in the testing technology. It has the advantages of low cost, high sensitivity, stable and reliable operation, and a large adjustable range of vibration detection. It is widely used in many fields such as energy, chemical industry, medicine, automobile, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, military industry, scientific research and teaching.
In any vibration measurement system, the instrument at the forefront is the vibration sensor. It plays a pivotal role in vibration measurement. With the continuous improvement of the intelligence level and high reliability requirements of equipment, the online status monitoring of the drive motor and the real-time feedback of the position and speed signals tend to be standard. The application of motor attachments such as encoders, overspeed switches, PT100, PTC, vibration sensors, etc. is becoming more and more common. It is very important for equipment manufacturers to understand these attachments and realize their organic integration with the motor.
For example, in some equipment, it is necessary to monitor the vibration of certain components. It is necessary to install sensors during the installation process to monitor the vibration at different speeds to achieve the monitoring purpose and accurate maintenance to reduce equipment damage.
If the frequency response requirement is not particularly high, you can use a 4-20mA sensor with speed output, collect data through PLC, and monitor the speed RMS value. Or use a display instrument for on-site monitoring reference. If the frequency response requirement is high, you can use a 4-20mA sensor with acceleration output, or use AC signal output. Through a faster PLC or acquisition card, collect acceleration values and trigger subsequent protection actions in real time.
Vibration sensors are widely used in various industries: such as metal processing, cement production, papermaking industry, maritime industry, mining and quarrying, wind power generation, food and beverage, pharmaceutical industry, rail transportation, oil and gas extraction, power industry and other industries.
