What is the difference between BT4 and CT4 in the explosion protection class?

BT4 and CT4 are both grade marks for explosion-proof motors, representing different explosion-proof levels respectively.

BT4 refers to the combustible gas accumulation area in the explosion hazard area and is suitable for explosive gas environments in Zone 1 and Zone 2. CT4 refers to the combustible dust accumulation area in the explosion hazard area and is suitable for dust explosive environments in Zones 20, 21 and 22.
