The magnetic steel of the permanent magnet motor is on the stator or the rotor?

Most of the motors are internal rotors, that is, the motor rotor is located inside the stator and outputs mechanical energy through the rotating shaft. The external rotor motor is on the contrary, the initial wire winding is placed on the iron core fixed together with the shaft, the motor is in a static state when running, and the radially enveloped parts outside it are rotating parts. In our daily life, the most common external rotor motor is the motor on the electric bicycle.

From the motor structure and operation convenience analysis, the permanent magnet motor will be the static part as the primary component of the motor, that is, as the stator of the motor, the power input power through the stator, and the rotor part, that is, the rotation of the motor is the secondary, the permanent magnet is placed on the rotor; According to this idea, whether it is an internal rotor motor or an external rotor motor, the permanent magnet is always on the secondary composition of the rotation. In reverse analysis, when we look at the motor, we can distinguish whether the motor is an internal or external rotor structure from the structural shape of the permanent magnet. It is not natural to assume that the rotor must be fixed with the shaft.

It is simply analyzed that the stator is connected with the power supply and is in a static state during the operation of the motor. The rotor is a secondary component, and the motor is a rotating part during operation.

The structure of the external rotor motor is relatively complex, but its working principle is relatively simple. The current passes through the stator coil to produce a rotating magnetic field, and the rotor is attached to the inside of the permanent magnet. When the permanent magnet receives the rotating magnetic field of the stator coil, a violent interaction force will be generated. Under the action of this force, the rotor begins to rotate.
