The three phase induction motor transformed by this re-manufacturing technology is to transform the original asynchronous motor into a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Starting from the actual needs of materials, a re-manufactured motor only needs to invest rotor magnetic steel and winding materials, but the labor cost involved will be more, mainly including the re-manufacturing design cost of the motor, the change of the original state and size of the rotor and stator. And the cost of re-manufacturing windings and rotors, as well as the cost of converters that must be equipped after the asynchronous machine is transformed into a synchronous machine.
In view of the above analysis, whether the motor is re-manufactured is more cost-effective for batch motors, but for personalized small batch motors, most motor users will give up re-manufacturing and buy new machines; For units specializing in re-manufacturing, whether it can bring benefits to motor owners also directly affects the possibility of undertaking business.
