Different working conditions on the 3 phase motor requirements are not the same, simply from the work system, some working conditions need the motor to work continuously, and some motors can only be carried out in the alternating state of operation and shutdown, and different working conditions of the motor operation and shutdown state time is different, some working conditions are long running time, and some working conditions are long downtime.
Is the 3 Phase Induction Motor with continuous operation easy to heat up or the motor with periodic operation easy to heat up? This should be analyzed from the starting and actual operation of the motor. For the power frequency motor with direct starting, frequent starting will cause the winding to heat seriously because of the large starting current. If the downtime is short and the working time is long, compared with the continuous running motor, although the actual working time is shorter, the heating problem caused by the starting process is more serious, so the temperature rise of the motor will be higher during operation.

For short running time and long downtime conditions, the winding temperature may be completely lowered during shutdown, so that the overall motor temperature may be equal to or lower than the continuous operating condition of the motor.
However, for the motor started by frequency conversion, the motor starting current is small, the starting process will not lead to serious heating of the motor winding, the actual working time of the motor is shorter than that of the continuous working system, and naturally the temperature rise of the motor under such conditions will be lower. The above qualitative comparison is based on the same load and the same surrounding environment; In the control of motor temperature rise, special environment, special operating conditions of the motor, should go through the necessary verification and form a relatively fixed design specification. Especially for the operating time and downtime of the motor is relatively random conditions, should be based on the actual operating characteristics of a reasonable selection.
